Marisol Ballestero

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a third-generation certified Lolita’s Legacy instructor.
 
The creator of the course, Lolita San Miguel, is a first-generation instructor. He has more than fifty-five years of teaching the method, making it one of the most complete courses in the world.
 
In addition, I studied all four levels of classical Pilates with Elena Bartley, a second-generation teacher and disciple of Romana Kryzanowska.
 
Pilates has helped me focus on my daily tasks, as I have suffered from ADHD since I was a child, among many other benefits that I have obtained from practicing it.
 
And as a Pilates teacher it has been a wonderful job full of satisfactions that has allowed me to witness the multiple benefits: mental health, movement control, overcoming injuries, improving posture, lowering stress and anxiety and many, many more.

Today I want to tell you how Pilates has helped me and why I love teaching.
 
Pilates has helped me feel well-being, I have improved my posture but beyond these benefits it has helped me to feel better about myself. It has taught me to be strong without the need for strength and to connect with my inner self.
 
Pilates came as a blessing to my life.
 
When I teach it makes me feel very happy, since I am not only sharing my knowledge, but at the same time, I always learn something from the people who are in my class, since they learn in different ways.
 
I love teaching Pilates classes because I observe that my students always end up happy and that leaves me with a feeling that I gave them a good class and gives purpose to my work.

Allow me to tell you about my experience with the Pilates method.
 
Practicing Pilates has allowed me to experience numerous benefits to my physical and mental health, including improved posture, increased flexibility, core strengthening, stress reduction, and increased body awareness.
 
Teaching Pilates classes for me represents more than transmitting knowledge, skills and techniques of the method to students! It is also accompanying the person in their process of physical and mental self-discovery that will significantly improve their quality of life.

Let me tell you a little about my story with Pilates.
 
The method has helped me with my digestion, I have learned to breathe better and that has made me relax, I can sleep better and I can better handle the situations that arise on a daily basis.
 
Teaching this method gives me happiness, seeing how people leave with a smile, relieved of some pain or even tell me that they can get up from their chair without help, thanks to their pilates classes, that and more undoubtedly makes all the work as a Pilates teacher worthwhile
